Authentic Stromboli:

Steak & Cheese Stromboli Packaging

Equipment varies, adjust as necessary.

Microwave 6 oz

For a soft and doughy texture:

  1. Remove stromboli from packaging and place on microwave-safe plate. 
  2. Microwave on HIGH for: 
  • 2:15 (from frozen
  • 1:15 (from thawed

Let stand for 1 minute. 

Microwave 12 oz

For a soft and doughy texture:

  1. Remove stromboli from packaging and place on microwave-safe plate.
  2. Wrap in a paper towel and place top side down on a microwave safe dish.   
  3. Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute and 30 seconds and flip to have the top side up:  
  • Heat for an additional 1 minute to 1:15 minute.  (From frozen)
  • Heat for an additional 30 to 45 seconds. (From thawed) 

Let stand for 1 minute. 

Microwave 22 oz

For a soft and doughy texture:

  1. Remove stromboli from packaging and place on microwave-safe plate.   
  2. Microwave on HIGH for:
  • 3:30 (from frozen
  • 2:30 (from thawed)

Let stand for 1 minute

  1. Remove thawed calzone from film. 
  2. Wrap in a paper towel and place on a microwave safe plate. 
  3. Heat on HIGH for 1 minute and 30 seconds. 
  4. Let stand for 1 minute. 

6 oz Frozen Calzone (1100 W Microwave)

  1. Remove frozen calzone from film. 
  2. Wrap in a paper towel and place on a microwave safe plate with the top side down. 
  3. Heat on HIGH for 1 minute and 10 seconds. 
  4. Rotate once and heat for another 1 minute and 10 seconds. 
  5. Let stand for 1 minute.

8 oz Thawed Calzone (1100 W Microwave)

  1. Remove thawed calzone from film. 
  2. Place on a microwave safe plate with the top side of the calzone facing down. 
  3. Heat on HIGH for 1 minute. 
  4. Rotate once and heat for another 50 seconds.  
  5. Let stand for 1 minute. 

8 oz Frozen Calzone (1100 W Microwave)

  1. Remove frozen calzone from film. 
  2. Wrap in a paper towel and place on a microwave safe plate. 
  3. Heat on HIGH for 2 minutes. 
  4. Rotate once and heat for another 2 minutes. 
  5. Let stand for 1 minute.

  1. Preheat air fryer to 300°F. 
  2. Remove thawed calzone from the film. 
  3. Cook for 12-15 minutes at 300°F. 
  4. Let stand for 1 minute. 

6 oz Frozen Calzone

  1. Preheat air fryer to 250°F. 
  2. Remove frozen calzone from the film. 
  3. Cook for 15-18 minutes at 250°F. 
  4. Cook for another 10 minutes at 300°F. 
  5. Let stand for 1 minute. 

8 oz Thawed Calzone

  1. Preheat air fryer to 250°F. 
  2. Remove frozen calzone from the film. 
  3. Cook for 8 minutes at 250°F. 
  4. Cook for another 10-12 minutes at 300°F. 
  5. Let stand for 1 minute.

8 oz Frozen Calzone

  1. Preheat air fryer to 250°F. 
  2. Remove frozen calzone from the film. 
  3. Cook for 15 minutes at 250°F. 
  4. Cook for another 13 minutes at 300°F. 
  5. Let stand for 1 minute. 

Oven Heating

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 
  2. Remove thawed calzone from the film and place on baking tray. 
  3. Bake for 20 minutes. 
  4. Remove from oven. 
  5. Let stand for 1 minute.

6 oz Frozen Calzone

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 
  2. Remove thawed calzone from the film and place on baking tray. 
  3. Bake for 25-28 minutes. 
  4. Remove from oven. 
  5. Let stand for 1 minute. 

8 oz Thawed Calzone

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 
  2. Remove frozen calzone from the film and place on baking tray. 
  3. Bake for 13-15 minutes. 
  4. Let stand for 1 minute.
